history,
THE BACKGROUND.
Julian's story starts out 10 years before his birth. His mother, Juliet Richard, fell in love with the wrong man, gof in trouble with the infamous les faucons de la nuit and even spent a few nights in jail which led her to flee the country. She took a train to Barcelona and started over. She changed her name as an attempt to hide from les Faucons De La Nuit and began living a new life. Years passed and life became normal again. She fell in love again, this time with the right man and the happy couple decided to get married. A month later it was announced that she was pregnant. 5 months later, news of Les Faucons reached her, she received a letter warning her to watch her moves and that she was being watched. Juliet was afraid to mention this to her husband, she thought he would leave her. Another month passed by, and a grave tragedy hit her home, she was at the market place getting fresh fruit for the house. When she arrived home, she walked in and found her husband dead on the floor. Next to him was a note saying: 'We Warned You.' She knew she was no longer in a safe zone and had to leave. She quickly called the police and left town once again. She took a train back to to Cordes-Sur-Ciel and stayed there with her parents for the final 2 months.
JULY 12, 1989 was the final day of Juliet's life, she died while giving him birth.
As far as Jules knows, he is a born and raised native of Cordes-sur-ciel. He grew up with his grandmother and is completely blank on his mother and fathers history. He would always ask his Mamie (Grandmother) who his parents were but she would just lie to him and tell him "Jules my dear, They were a young couple in love. One night, during a rain storm they had left you with us as they went out to the theater, they crashed and passed on. Jules, they are in a better place now." He accepted that answer but always felt something was wrong when it was told to him.
Other than the whole parents dead thing, Jules lived a pretty normal life. He went to school and was a decent student. After school he would head to a friends house and they would listen to records, drink whiskey and smoke cigarettes. Ya know, like normal kids do. He would eventually come home, and go to sleep only to do the same thing the next day. On weekends, he would live at a friends house and they would go to the local bar and socialize, drink and smoke cigarettes. He enjoyed his life and enjoyed the company he was around.
When he was in Terminale, things started to change. He was walking home from around 3 am one night after leaving a friends house and felt as if he was being watched. He began walking faster. The next morning, his grandmother found him in his backyard with a black eye, a busted lip, a broken arm and a note tucked into his back pocket warning him that he was being watched. He was rushed to the hospital and heard the words that would haunt him for the rest of his life "Les Faucons de la Nuit". After a few weeks, he recovered physically but emotionally he was scarred for life. He graduated from lycée a year late after failing Terminale with the worst marks that he had ever obtained.
Today, Julian is taking a gap year and working at the local bar that he spent most of his Lycee days at.

Morning after morning, Jules would wake up on his bed wondering what happened night before. He somewhat knew what he did like that he had enough alcohol in his system to make a liver fail but he didn't know the specifics like who he did, what he said and what he had smoked or taken. While he was at Lyceel it was different, he actually had work to do and a goal he wanted to accomplish. These days, his only goals are to see how much sex he could have, how many drugs he could take, how much alcohol he could handle and how many cigarettes he could have in his mouth at the same time. He was out of control, a hot mess and afraid.
He sat up in his bed and sighed, he picked up his cell phone that was sitting on the floor and checked the time. It was 11:33AM, the earliest he had woken up this week. He scratched his messy black hair and pondered if he would get out of bed or sleep a little bit longer. He was tempted to go back to sleep until he heard his grandmother call from downstairs. "Jules dear! Come upstairs for some breakfast! she said.
Jules could never say no to his grandmother and could never back out from her cooking.
He rolled out of bed, put on a pair of pants, picked up his cellphone, a lighter and a pack of cigarettes and went downstairs to the kitchen. He kissed his grandmother on the check. " 'Morning Mamie." He said and sat down at the table and began chowing down the food she had prepared for him. He loved his grandmother dearly, to him she was everything. He always felt very bad about all the things he did when she was around. She knew very well of what was going on but acted as if she didn't, she only wished he would sober up and was afraid that he would land the same fate as his mother.
Julian finished his breakfast, thanked his grandmother, put on a jacket and went outside for a smoke. He had picked up the nasty habit years earlier and wasn't going to let it go anytime soon. He lit the cigarette and took a drag of it. He had started it as a social thing but now he had to always have a cigarette in between his lips. It was cold outside and the cigarette kept him warm, he really enjoyed the sensation. He finished of the cigarette and threw it on the ground and stepped on it. He pulled the his cellphone out of his pocket to look the time, it was 12:45, meaning he had enough time for another cigarette before having to go upstairs and get ready for work. He pulled another cigarette out of the packet, lit it, and smoked
